Holistic Feng Shui
“If you are depressed you are living in the past.
If you are anxious you are living in the future.
If you are at peace you are living in the present.”
―Lao Tzu
Feng Shui is a part of Taoism, which is based on The Tao Te Ching. Written by Lao Tzu, the book is a meditation on simplicity, patience, compassion, and balanced living. Chi means "life force" and is often symbolized by a river. When water arrives at a log or a boulder in a river, it first runs into it––but then––it makes its way around it. As humans, we often dam chi from our lives without even realizing it.
We refuse chi when it becomes too difficult or painful to implement wholeness within ourselves and our lives. Nevertheless, the energy of existence is going to stream, course, and gush into us––regardless of how hard we try to stop it. So, letting go is key.
I have been integrating Feng Shui into my life for twenty years. It has taught me that all of our faculties benefit from consistent clearing out, rearranging, and making room for the new. Holistic Feng Shui is about applying Taoist principles to not only our physical spaces––but to our mental, emotional, and spiritual spaces as well.
Feng Shui means "wind-water," and speaks to the relationship between the mind and the emotions. These delicate and impressionable energies can run wild if they are ignored. By keeping them clear, you intentionally manifest your reality.
This interactive workshop includes phone or video meetings and a shared Google doc. Taken one step at a time, I help you organize your life through the power of Feng-Shui. Together we step through the four elements as follows: 1) clearing your physical space (earth), 2) clearing your mind (air), 3) clearing your emotions and relationships (water), and 4) uncovering your deepest passions, dreams, and life purpose (fire).
Let's clear your space and your inner faculties so that you can reconnect to what brings you the most joy and harmony. Please feel free to send me a message if you have any questions.
